ALL ABOUT LIOVALY PIANO STUDIO

Sarah Loza started playing piano at age eight.  The diligent tutelage of her first teacher, Janet Russell, fostered Sarah's musical ability and personal motivation.

In 2008, Sarah began studying with Branislav Radakovic, focusing on delicacy of touch, expression and performance.

Sarah's pedagogical approach for piano focuses on tailoring music choices to match each student's interests.  A student's motivation is encouraged by playing songs that they truly enjoy.  Piano should always be engaging even while practicing tough passages.  Joy for the music inspires better practicing habits and dedication.

Sarah especially loves to play Chopin, but also enjoys Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Satie.

Sarah also enjoys playing organ, after being first introduced to the exquisite organ of over 3,500 pipes at the St. Mary's College of California Chapel.  While attending St. Mary's, she received instruction from the resident organist, the late Br. Martin Yribarren, F.S.C.  She is a private tutor for budding organists at St. Mary's College.

Sarah regularly plays organ for St. Michael's Church in Livermore and guests at Catholic churches all around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Wedding Organist Services

Sarah has been playing organ for over 12 years.  She specializes in Catholic Masses and weddings.  She has experience accompanying choirs and soloists.  Sarah finds joy in providing reverent and beautiful music to the liturgy, especially in the Tridentine Mass.
